Mission Statement

Vortex(t) is dedicated to inspiring innovative habits of thinking and to the enlightened exchange of information and ideas.

We work with language and image structures—both literal and symbolic. We’re interested in the construction of intentional community both online and in the world. We work with the interactive space between online and real world structures and support the transformative dimensions of web communication.

We’re interested in increasing the capacity of ourselves and our fellow humans to perceive, comprehend and convey Meaning. We believe the ability to think creatively and clearly is essential to well-being and to the success of a functioning democracy.

We are committed to examining the concept of Truth because we believe truthful communication is a mind-enhancing value and fundamental human right. Our workshops, presentations, publications and services are intended to strengthen the imagination and embolden holistic consciousness.

To that end Vortex(t) devotes its time and energy to projects that can transform insight, expand the horizons of truth, and assist in Healing the Wounded Imagination.

We invite you to support us in right livelihood and the potential for doing good in a troubled world. Our organization is committed to the health and well-being of the planet, to the health and well-being of all creatures, and to the health and well-being of the human mind. We intend to use this organization as a platform for presenting ideas that can transform consciousness and help heal the human imagination —so that humanity can turn its attention from violence and war, and begin the hard work of healing the Earth. We stand for non-violence and inclusion. We stand for Green, sustainable living. We stand for spirit and hope.
